What filetype or file format can I send you?

To receive an automated quote, we accept Adobe Illustrator (.ai), vector-based .eps files, and .DXF files. For custom quotes, we can accept most vector-based file types including .PDF and .STEP files. We do not accept .STL mesh-based files, raster files, or photographs.

How do I setup my file for cutting?

Check out our Design Guidelines page for more information on setting up your files for laser cutting.

Will there be scratches on my parts?

Possibly. Due to our manufacturing process, some cosmetic defects and scratches may be present on your part, especially on the bottom side that contacts the laser bed. Thick aluminum (>.250") may have a slight burr on the bottom edge. Contact us about finishing options such as ceramic tumbling and deburring.

Do you offer bending, powder coating, painting or welding?

We do not offer additional services beyond cutting, deburring and bending at this time. We highly recommend using a local provider once you receive the parts from us.

Do you offer laser etching or laser engraving?

Not at this time, we recommend contacting a specialty engraving service.

What's the largest single part that you can cut? How big are your machines?

Our raw material is typically sourced in sheets 48" x 120" overall, which gives us a yield for single parts up to 47" x 118". Maximum size for freight/shipping is 46" x 110". Oversized freight shipping will be quoted at actual cost.
