The Importance of Nitrogen in Laser Cutting

At SendCutSend, we’ve invested heavily in our nitrogen infrastructure to ensure the best-possible cutting quality and reliability. We handle nitrogen in 2 ways:

  1. Bulk Liquid Nitrogen Storage: We maintain 10,000+ gallons of liquid nitrogen on-site at our facilities
  2. In-House Nitrogen Generation: Our state-of-the-art nitrogen generation system provides an additional layer of supply security.

Inside Our Nitrogen Generation Facility

Our nitrogen generation room is where we make most of our nitrogen for the cutting process

  • 100+ horsepower air compressors
  • Advanced membrane filtration systems
  • High-pressure storage tanks

This setup allows us to produce near-pure nitrogen on demand, ensuring our cutting processes always have access to high-quality assist gas.

Ensuring Uninterrupted Operations

We’ve designed our system with multiple redundancies to maintain consistent production, even in challenging circumstances:

  • Continuous operation during scheduled or unscheduled maintenance
  • Unaffected by severe weather conditions like snowstorms
