CNC Senior CAD/CAM Programmer

FULL TIME
Reno, Nevada

Job Description:

This position is for a person who wants to be part of a rapidly growing, high-tech manufacturing company.  Our Senior CAD/CAM Programmer candidate will need to be ready to perform a variety of tasks, including fast-paced programming and job tracking for multiple Fiber and CO2 lasers, CNC brake/forming equipment, CNC spindle routers, and more. 

Responsibilities:

Prepare and verify automatically generated layouts, drawings, and designs according to engineering specifications using CAD software.

  • Demonstrates willingness to take direction and follows instructions.
  • Creates programs using our in-house proprietary software, in conjunction with AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Fusion360 for robotic sheet metal, plastic and composite cutting equipment. 
  • Uses best practices to optimize material usage and run times. Suggests product changes that will improve processing times and/or improve material yields.
  • Anticipates processing issues and proposes solutions when known.
  • Maintains an accurate library of programs and materials. 
  • Supports production employees as needed.

Requirements:

  • Preferred Education: Associate’s Degree or greater
  • Preferred Experience: Between 1 – 2 years or greater
  • Basic understanding of manufactured product design
  • Knowledge of drafting using AutoCAD or Solidworks
  • Knowledge of drafting protocols and standards

Additional proprietary software training is available on the job.

CNC Machine Operator

FULL TIME
Reno, Nevada

Job Description:

This position is for a person who wants to be part of a growing, high-tech manufacturing company. Our CNC Machine Operator job candidate will need to be ready to do a variety of tasks, including the fast-paced operation and maintenance of multiple CNC spindle routers and CO2 lasers, and more. Other responsibilities include material handling, quality control, and job scheduling.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate state-of-the-art CNC spindle routers and CO2 laser equipment
  • Determine project priorities using in-house software and systems
  • Understand nesting requirements for material usage, and remnant tracking
  • Work with Purchasing, and/or interact directly with vendors to obtain materials, gasses, and consumables
  • Ensure all processes are accurate
  • Ensure customer requirements are successfully met
  • Successfully interact with our support, QC, shipping, and software teams throughout the production process.

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills.
  • Additional proprietary software training is available on the job.  
  • Punctuality – must have the ability to arrive to work on time
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision

Compensation:

Compensation range is $18 – $28+/hr, based on experience and performance.

Experience in a fabrication, signage, or manufacturing environment is a plus.

Manufacturing Tech 1

Job Description:

This position is for a person who wants to be part of a growing, high-tech manufacturing company. Manufacturing Technician candidate will need to be ready to do a variety of tasks, including material handling, forklift operation, post-processing, and assisting CNC Operators. Other responsibilities include quality control and shipping.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist CNC Operators with material handling, de-nesting, and post-processing
  • Work with the shift manager to help schedule jobs, hit deadlines, and achieve QC goals
  • Ensure all processes are accurate
  • Ensure customer requirements are successfully met
  • Successfully interact with our support and software teams throughout the production process.

Requirements:

  • Minimum (1) year experience in a warehouse, fabrication, signage, or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand drawings, orders, and shipping labels
  • Basic computer skills, including understanding of shipping software. Additional proprietary software training is available on the job.  
  • Solid understanding of metals and fabricating
  • Punctuality – must have the ability to arrive to work on time
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Willingness to learn our process and adapt as needed.
