Production Tech

Job Description:

Assist with essential duties set forth by the production manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to store/move materials as needed

  • Assist with various manufacturing duties, including but not limited to: material staging, production, quality control, and shipping.

  • Direct orders to the appropriate department throughout the manufacturing process.

  • Conduct quality inspections at each production stage to ensure compliance with company standards.

  • Perform all production duties as directed by production leadership dependent on daily operational demands. 

Knowledge and Essential Skills:

  • Ability to complete implied tasks to perform necessary job functions

  • Willingness to learn all aspects of the manufacturing process

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices

  • Ability to keep and maintain a clean, safe working environment

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

CNC Press Brake Operator

Location

Paris, Kentucky or Reno, KY

Job Description:

Setup, operate and maintain a CNC Press Brake and assist with any additional functions within the Post Production department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute press brake operations effectively and efficiently, demonstrating expertise in the startup, shutdown, and routine maintenance of assigned equipment
  • Load, install, and correctly set up job tooling required for each part and job
  • Thoroughly inspect all parts to ensure they meet company standards prior to initiating machine setup
  • Read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings for proper brake setup
  • Check parts with angle gauge to verify accuracy of bends and ensure they match customer specifications
  • Engage in daily communication with the supervisor and support team to promptly address any issues with parts, and contribute to improving our bending guidelines
  • Physically locate and move job orders throughout our production facility or via the SendCutSend application software
  • Conduct daily clean up of press brake area and maintain an organized work station
  • Assist with inventory of necessary punches and dies

Knowledge and Essential Skills:

  • CNC press brake experience required (Amada preferred)
    Attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of CNC systems
  • Ability to understand flat pattern layouts of parts
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring devices
