A sheet metal body represents a flat piece of metal with a uniform thickness in Fusion. Sheet metal bodies use Sheet metal rules to control the thickness, bend radii and other manufacturing settings for a particular part.
You can create a sheet metal body using either the Flange tool to convert a sketch to sheet metal, or by converting an existing body to sheet metal.
The SendCutSend Fusion plugin will automatically recognize any sheet metal bodies.
The most common reason for this is that your part does not have a uniform thickness.
Check to see if your part has any of the following non-uniform features:
These features will need to be modified for your part to be recognized by the SendCutSend plugin.
You can verify your part is a Sheet metal body on the Fusion Browser under the “Bodies” section.
