At SendCutSend, we select the best cutting method for each material. Because of this, we can’t change the cutting process for individual orders. This means you can’t request a specific method (such as laser cutting, waterjet cutting, CNC routing, or CNC machining) as the process is predetermined.
See the cut process by material in our service guidelines:
Laser Cut Sheet Metal, Plastic, and Wood/Board
CNC Routed Sheet Plastic, Composite, and Wood/Board

Design considerations by cut method
Each cutting process has different design considerations. Factor in minimum hole, hole-to-edge, and bridging sizes for sheet and plate stock when choosing a material for your project.
Confirm the minimum hole and bridging/webbing dimensions for every sheet and plate thickness SendCutSend offers by visiting our Material Catalog. Then select your material of choice to see its dedicated info page.
On the material info pages, click Specifications or scroll down to find the Material Details and Design Considerations.
