We’re unable to accept STL files since we require either 2D vector files (DXF, DWG, EPS, or AI format) or specific 3D files (STEP or STP format) to quote and produce parts. Learn more about the file formats we can accept and check out our design guidelines.
If you want to convert a mesh STL format file to DXF or DWG, the method for that will depend on the design software you’re using. It may be easier for you to convert the STL to a STEP format file, which we also accept as long as it meets our 3D File Guidelines.
Essentially you will need to project the desired face of your part to a plane if you want to export a 2D sketch as a vector file. If you export a STEP format file, ensure that your part is set up as a sheet metal body. We do not provide any multiaxis machining at this time and cut all parts out of flat sheet materials, so your part design must be set up accordingly.

In Summary
No, we only accept 2D vector files (DXF, DWG, EPS or AI format) or specific 3D files (STEP or STP format).
