I sent out a dozens of quote requests to dozens of companies, many of them returned with prices over $1K, many of them hundreds of dollars. Send cut send was $53 dollars and free shipping on a high quality 3/8in steel plate with precise hole placements. Now the flashing made from the lead in cuts are a bit aggressive on thick material so that is something to consider in the future, but easily filed down.Posted on Brian SmithsonJanuary 21, 2026.
