There are a few things that could potentially slow down your order. We cut and process parts seven days a week, but we review orders Monday through Friday.
1. Part files that don’t meet our service design guidelines
We can’t produce parts if files do not meet our service guidelines, so our DFM (design for manufacturing) team will have to contact you and request revisions. This typically adds at least one day to an order’s lead time depending on how quickly design issues are resolved.
2. Post processing services requiring additional time
Post processing operations such as hardware insertion, bending/forming, or powder coating will add lead time to your order. Fortunately you will be able to see an estimated order ship date before checkout which will include any additional lead time required for services you’ve quoted.

3. Orders with a high quantity of parts
Orders with an especially high volume of parts can require additional processing time. The estimated ship date you see at checkout should give you a realistic idea of when the order will be completed, and you can always work with our Sales team to find the best solution for your project.
