Production Time

“I had to do some post processing to get countersunk holes that I needed… parts were clean and accurate. Saved me a lot of time.”
Our countersinking service is compatible with four aluminums and three plastics. Materials must be at least 0.125″ thick.
Countersinking adds 1-2 days to production. For the fastest lead time, order countersunk parts separately

Draw only the minor hole in your CAD file
Do not include the major diameter; the countersink is machined to the correct size automatically.
Holes under 4″ are automatically resized
You are responsible for ensuring adequate edge clearance and spacing between features after resize.
Countersink direction matters
Countersinks can be applied from the top or bottom face. Use the 3D preview in the app to verify orientation before ordering.
| Major diameter | Should match fastener head diameter (~50% larger than minor hole). Do not include in your file |
| Minor diameter | Defined by your CAD file, must match intended fastener size |
| Max countersink depth | Should not exceed 60% of material thickness |
| Countersink angle: 82° | Standard for imperial/SAE hardware |
| Countersink angle: 90° | Standard for metric hardware |
| Contact requirement | Aim for ≥ 50% contact between hardware and countersink |

Avoid placing countersinks too close to edges, other holes, or bend lines.
Deep countersinks require additional spacing between features and thicker material to maintain strength.
Multiple countersinks placed close together risk material deformation or part failure under load.
Surface condition: Parts may have oil or lubricant residue from the countersinking process. Light cleaning may be required.
Edge condition: Some sharp edges or burrs may remain after machining. Minor deburring may be needed.
Finish quality: Countersinks are functional features, not cosmetic. Tooling marks or light scoring may be visible.
Powder coating impact: Adds .002″–.005″ per side. Hole sizes are adjusted, but fit may still be tight on countersunk features.

Posted on Patrick GehlichMay 27, 2026. I ordered a custom keychain from them after seeing them on so many of the youtube channels I watch. I just wanted to see how their process worked. Within a week I had a keychain made out of grade 5 titanium and it only cost $37. What a time to be a maker!Posted on R GMay 26, 2026. Fast service. They provided feedback on designs to improve them, all at a very reasonable cost. Plan to use them for all my projects.Posted on Matt ThomasMay 26, 2026. Great service. Ricky and Cassandra were quite helpful when I had to make adjustments to my order.Posted on rogueturnerMay 26, 2026. My first part was mostly a test to see how the process worked. I sent in a simple bracket, to mount a hydraulic pump, with holes, slots, a bend, and had it powder coated. I couldn't have been more pleased with the turnaround, communications, and the delivered part. Pics of their Preview, part received, and mounted. Definitely worth a shot if you haven't tried them before.Posted on Jonathan BlandMay 26, 2026. I’m really happy with the overall experience, this was my first time ordering laser cut parts online. Someone suggested it to me instead of investing into equipment which I still plan on doing, but this service is incredibly convenient and more affordable than you may ordinarily think. Far as I’ve found one of the best options for quality and affordability + I love the sour punch candy it’s so good yall definitely put me on.Posted on Mia RichardsonMay 26, 2026. All parts were received in a timely manner and were all high quality. We've been enjoying the stickers and candy sent in the boxes around the office as well.Posted on Adner VerdeciaMay 25, 2026. The online designer is super straightforward and user-friendly. They have an excellent selection of materials; only missing dark matter, lava, and uranium so far 😉 Shipping was really fast and the part was packed very well. Overall a great experience!Google rating score: 5.0 of 5, based on 3172 reviews
