To prevent trapped tumbling media, ensure hole, slot, and cutout widths are at least 0.030″. Anything smaller may retain abrasive media during processing. Please reference our Tumbling guidelines before uploading your design.
Tumbling is rougher than linear deburring and may bend or distort thin features. For parts with delicate, unsupported areas or intricate detail, add temporary tabs to stiffen them during tumbling, then remove and fine-tune post-process.
