Can you cut material I ship to you?

Due to safety and procedural risks, SendCutSend does not cut or process raw material that is shipped to us from customers. Additionally, we cannot accept raw material or components from vendors such as McMaster-Carr per request for specific customers or projects.

Which side of my part will be the top?

When you upload your vector file (DXF, DWG, EPS, or AI format) or STEP/STP format file to our website or use our Parts Builder to create a part, the orientation of your part as shown in the 2D part preview will be considered the top side.

What is your cut tolerance?

The cut tolerance for each material depends on the cutting process for that material and specific thickness. You can find cut tolerance specifications for each stock thickness on the material pages in our Material Catalog.

That’s why it’s important to understand the tolerance of specific materials when designing your projects to be laser cut.
