We choose the best cutting method for each material, so we aren’t able to use a different cut process upon request for individual orders. This means you won’t be able to specify or request laser cutting, waterjet cutting, or CNC routing for your parts since this is predetermined based on the material you select.
See the process by material on our design guidelines pages:
You can also verify the cut process for each material here: Material Minimum and Maximum Sizes
Design Considerations by Cut Method
Each cutting process comes with different design considerations. Be sure to factor in minimum hole, hole-to-edge, and bridging sizes when choosing a material for your project.
Confirm the minimum hole and bridging/webbing dimensions for every material by navigating to our Material Library. Then find your material of choice to see its material info page. Scroll down to find the Material Details and Design Considerations.
