Do you offer polishing and mirror finishes?
We do not offer any polished or mirror finish metals at this time. Mirror-finish acrylic is available, as well as a variety of plastics and composites with a gloss finish.
If you’re looking to make your 2D sheet metal or plastic project into a 3D part, CNC bending is where to start.
Our laser cut deburring process is included at no cost, because we want you to have good looking parts when they arrive at your door.
We’ll use a variety of processes to remove small imperfections, scratches, and burr left over from the cutting process.
Please note that our finishing services will not result in a perfectly cosmetic finish, but the parts will be attractive, smooth and ready to use.
If your project requires a perfectly brushed pattern, aggressive edge softening, or a highly polished surface, we recommend performing finishing operations after you receive the parts from us. We do not offer a cosmetic graining or brushing service.
Our deburring services are available for FREE on eligible orders
Removes major imperfections from processing
Produces a more consistent finish than raw materials
Deburring adds a nice brushed look to your parts
Removes burrs from bottoms edges of materials like aluminum
With our team of highly trained machinists and our state-of-the-art manufacturing technology, we’ve made it easier than ever to deburr your parts.. When you upload your design to our app, simply select the “Deburring” option during the checkout process and you’ll get an instant quote!
Making sure your file meets our requirements will ensure you get your parts as quickly as possible.

“SendCutSend is always my first thought when prototyping and producing my builds. I’ve used their services on almost every project for the last several years. Their many services and automatic online quotes are an absolute game changer.”
For small parts:
The minimum part size for linear deburring is 1″ x 3″ for applicable materials.
For Aluminum 5052/6062, and Titanium, thicknesses less than .125″ require a minimum size of 1″ x 5″.
We offer custom laser cutting, waterjet cutting, and CNC routing. We’ll cut your parts with the method best suited for your material.
Add dimension to your projects with our precision CNC bending services.
Quickly and easily add threading to your parts, or allow hardware to sit flush.
Select from our catalog of PEM press-fit hardware to add nuts, studs, and standoffs.
We offer Class II anodizing services to add durability and character to your laser cut parts.
Increase rust prevention, wear resistance, and strength with zinc and nickel plating.
Give your laser cut parts a bold, long-lasting finish and protective layer in one of 7 colors
This FREE process removes small imperfections, scratches, and burr left over from the cutting process.
Deburring is included FREE on orders with eligible materials!
Yes, we are laser-fast, but we’re also secure, and offer 100% money-back guarantee on all our parts. You’re in good hands with us.

We do not offer any polished or mirror finish metals at this time. Mirror-finish acrylic is available, as well as a variety of plastics and composites with a gloss finish.
SendCutSend does not offer line graining, but our free online deburring service will help remove any major imperfections leftover from the machining process. Deburring doesn’t polish the surface or leave it perfectly finished as with line graining, but it will prepare your part for additional finishing and assembly.
Aluminum, mild steel and stainless steel are the best candidates for powder coating. To confirm which materials and thicknesses are eligible for powder coating, take a look at our powder coating guidelines page.
Powder coating adds 7-10 days to an order’s lead time before shipping. For this reason, we strongly recommend ordering finished and unfinished parts separately so we can ship your non-powder coated parts as soon as they’re ready.
Powder coating adds 7-10 days to an order’s lead time. Check out the complete FAQ and our powder coating guidelines for all details, tips, and considerations!
You can powder coat bent/formed and tapped parts. Please be aware that die witness marks from the press brake will be visible through the coating. Also, you will have to chase any tapped holes to clear the threads once you receive the parts.
We have multiple etching limitations to keep in mind since we do not offer laser engraving or solid etching. Our etching services are currently limited to single line etching. Please note: single line etching is faint and shouldn’t be used for cosmetic applications.
We offer powder coating in seven colors: matte black, gloss black, wrinkle black, gloss white, gloss red, gloss yellow, and emerald green.
We do not offer laser engraving or solid etching at this time. We recommend contacting a specialty engraving or trophy shop for those services.
There will inevitably be scratches left on the surface of your part after the machining process especially on the bottom side that contacts the laser bed. If you want to minimize the effect the scratches will have on the final look of your part, select deburring or tumbling before checkout if your parts are eligible.
Yes! In addition to cutting, deburring, and bending, we offer powder coating via our Instant Quote process. For details, check out our powder coating page.
