What is the maximum flange length for 4-sided boxes?

How should I enter bend definitions?

Per our bending guidelines, please enter bend definitions as measured from the outside of the bend. You can think of it as the number of degrees the flange is actually bent from a flat position. When you enter bend definitions before placing an order on our website, you should be able to see a 3D preview of your bent part to confirm the definitions are correct.

What are your tolerances for bending?

Simple, single bend parts will have a +/- 0.015” dimensional tolerance, bend to edge, while multi bend parts will have a +/- 0.030” dimensional tolerance, bend to edge. Each bend adds at least .015” tolerance. Bend angle tolerances will depend on whether the part is cut from sheet metal or plastic.
