Need to know how to export a file format we accept from TinkerCAD?
TinkerCAD can be a challenging platform for us to process since it does not export true DXF files. For this reason, you may want to consider trying one of the free software options we recommend instead.
However, there are a couple of options available for exporting from TinkerCAD!
1. Send To Fusion 360
- Send To Fusion 360 (download free version here)
- After installing Fusion 360, click the Send To button at the top right of your screen in TinkerCAD to send your design to Autodesk Fusion 360.
- Then export your design as a DXF from Fusion
2. Open SVG in Inkscape, Save As EPS
- Open the TinkerCAD SVG in Inkscape (free – download here)
- Then save your design as an EPS file
Once your file is exported from either Fusion as a DXF or from Inkscape as an EPS at 1:1 scaling, you should be able to upload it directly to our website for instant pricing and confirm the overall dimensions are correct. Use our file setup checklist to ensure your file is cut-ready!
