TinkerCAD is a challenging platform for us to process, since it does not export true DXF files that we use for defining cutting paths. For this reason, we strongly suggest that you use one of our recommended software instead.
However there are a couple options available for exporting from TinkerCAD
- Send To Fusion 360 (download free version here)
- After installing Fusion 360, click the Send To button at the top right of your screen in TinkerCAD to send your design to Autodesk Fusion 360.
- Then export your design as a DXF from Fusion
- Open the TinkerCAD SVG in Inkscape (free – download here)
- Then save your design as an EPS file
Once your file is exported from either Fusion as a DXF or from Inkscape as an EPS at 1:1 scaling, you should be able to upload it directly to our website for an instant quote and confirm the overall dimensions are correct. Use our file setup checklist to ensure your 2D file is cut-ready!
