Instead of forming large chromium carbides, MagnaCut uses a fine mix of vanadium and niobium carbides while keeping chromium in solution, which significantly boosts rust resistance and edge durability. Thanks to its powder-metallurgy construction and a precise heat-treat process, it can reliably reach 60–63 HRC while staying impressively tough. The result is a stainless steel that performs like a high-end carbon tool steel but with far better resistance to moisture, staining, and harsh environments.
