Acrylic, the wonder plastic

Originally used in World War II for airplane windows and canopies, acrylic has evolved to a plethora of new usages. Thanks to its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, versatility, and weather resistance, acrylic has found success across many industries.

Acrylic is typically about 10 times more resistant to impact than standard glass. The potential savings from not having to replace frequently shattered glass are incalculable.

But if you did want to calculate something, calculate the fact that acrylic is still a lower price point than glass. Yeah. Acrylic sheets and the SendCutSend proprietary manufacturing process are a match made in some kind of fabrication heaven. Whatever that looks like.

Send us your designs, we’re dying to see what you have in mind for this incredible material.
