Laser-cut 304 stainless steel

Weldable, formable, and otherwise a joy to work with, 304 stainless has risen to the top of common steels. You’d have to be living pretty remotely to not be with 50 feet of some stainless steel and we think that speaks to its versatility in projects.

High amounts of nickel and chromium, with a lower carbon count than other stainless varieties, make 304 highly corrosion resistant. Meaning, this stuff doesn’t rust, if you couldn’t tell. Able to remain corrosion resistant across many different environments makes this steel such an important material in modern industries. Making a product out of a single material that can exist effectively everywhere is great for business! The only real threat this miracle of alloying science faces is that from chloride exposure.

Fusion welding performance for Stainless steel 304 is excellent both with and without fillers so it’s a strong choice across projects that require this type of work. Sometimes, heavily welded sections do require additional treatments, such as annealing, but most of the time the material is simple to join.
