ABS (ACRYLONITRILE / BUTADIENE / STYRENE) thermoplastic is the perfect material for prototypes, lab equipment, and instrument panels.
Our CNC machined ABS plastic offers many characteristics including impact and abrasion resistance, tensile strength, dimensional stability, heat and chemical resistance, rigidity, and low-temperature properties.
This material is easy to glue and paint with non-petroleum-based products (petroleum-based products will cause the material to craze). ABS is also one of the few non-metallic materials that can be readily electroplated.
ABS is produced in a thin gauge sheet with a textured finish on one side, and a smooth finish on the other.
